Role Synopsis

Baker Hughes International (BHI) is currently seeking an experienced Sales Specialist for Production product line in the Woodward, OK area. This position is responsible for Basic knowledge of the oil field, and basic computer skills. The ability to work well and communicate well with others and the ability to solve problems and come up with solutions for the customers, in accordance with Baker Hughes policies. Additional responsibilities include working in the field and sampling wells and making recommendation's, under limited supervision. This position is a critical foundation for BHI contracts.


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Sells products and services to existing or new customers in the field.
  • Maintains a mix of large and small accounts.
  • Able to communicate with the customers.
  • Able to make recommendations to the customer to help solve problems.
  • Usually calls at well site.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Basic Qualifications
  • Technical Associate's Degree preferred or 4-year Non-Technical Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in related field.
  • Basic Computer skills, with Microsoft Office experience a plus.
  • Flexible to work occasional long hours if needed.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
  • Ability to work well and communicate well with others.


Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Oil Field experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
CDL with Hazmat or able to obtain both.

Other Details

Able to work Weekends as needed.
