Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Provide advanced support by handling a wide variety of administrative functions within a functional area. Responsible for more complex tasks and working with highly confidential information. Perform office tasks such as filing, maintaining records, processing transactions, supervising databases, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, inventory control and other similar duties. Answer and direct telephone calls and enquiries to the appropriate departments/individuals in a courteous manner. Prepare reports, presentations or correspondence. Serve as an office information facilitator, arranging and scheduling meetings or appointments, managing projects, handling travel arrangements, performing research, and distributing information through the use of telephones, mail and e-mail. Follow organizational and departmental procedures to complete tasks. May support in facilitating logistics of functional group. Order office supplies and printing materials. May assist with new employee orientation. Act as resource for less experienced administrators. Basic Qualifications High school diploma, secondary school completion or equivalent. Strong Microsoft Office Skills 5+ years general business experience. Desired/Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience doing travel arrangements Expert computer skills including advanced knowledge of MS Office software packages and/or advanced knowledge of company-specific databases. Some college or university preferred. Broad knowledge of practices and procedures of the department and the company. Ability to set up and maintain databases. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Able to work well with stringent deadlines and possess good organizational skills. Commitment to customer service and ability to work in team-oriented environment. Self-motivated. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to use own initiative.
