Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Primary responsibilities will the generation of engineering treatment proposals for the stimulation of oil and gas wells.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with sales, safety, operations, customers and team members.
- Must be willing to provide periodic 24/7 on-call staffing requirements..
Basic Qualifications
An Associate degree in Engineering or BSc in Engineering or the sciences is required for this position.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
Located in the Calgary head office, you will be part of a fast paced, results oriented team who strive for technical excellence. You will be working in the Applied Engineering Department preparing detailed fracturing programs and well treatment proposals as requested by internal and external customers. You will be exposed to critical elements in reservoir characterization, mechanical engineering and dynamic fluid behavior during well stimulation.
The successful candidate will have some background in oil and gas well completion technology and be versed in wellbore construction. You will advance yourself both financially and technically through continued training, on the job success and the ability to thrive in a multi-faceted team environment. Candidates must be eligible to obtain registration with ASET or APEGGA.
