• Ensure HSE policies and procedures in all Logistics Contracts are implemented.
• Continue to identify and evaluate logistical resources.
• Ensure Logistical alignment with the Company Drilling strategy.
• Ensure resource availability and optimization of logistical concepts.
• Ensure helicopter availability and specifications are aligned with Company requirements.
• Ensure maximized shared helicopter & vessel usage.
• Ensure vessels are tendered in time to provide support for fluctuations in drilling schedule.
• Provide technical, operational and commercial input for all Logistics Contracts.
• Establish/implement logistics plans, procedures and policies for area of operation.
• Ensure the safe, secure, cost effective and efficient movement of personnel and material in area of operations.
• Ensure that trained and competent personnel are employed in area of operations.
• Ensure the employment of fit for purpose material and equipment in compliance with Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Manage health, safety, security and the environment at all times and ensure they remain top priorities.
• Provide logistical input to other departments and documentation as and when required.
• During operations he shall:
• Establish and implement schedules, plans, procedures, work instructions, checklists supporting Company policies, standards and guidelines as directed by the Drilling Superintendent.
• Optimize utilization of logistical resources in order to meet operational and HSE requirements in the most cost effective manner.
• Manage contracts and contractors.
• Manage inventory and Import and Export Controls.
• Monitor, challenge, control and report costs, performance and exposure data.
• Effectively liaise with other companies and country specific government agencies.
• Actively participate in the emergency response team.

• A logistics professional with 10 years relevant E&P experience.
• Deep knowledge of Logistics Contracting and Contract Management.
• Knowledge of the well engineering process and familiar with well engineering equipment.
• Deep knowledge of Logistics Support for offshore drilling operations.
• Proven focus on HSE performance management.
• Proven business and commercial acumen.
• Ability to manage strong relationships with 3rd party service providers.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
