• Prepare tender specifications for the wireline logging, coring and mudlogging tenders.
• Perform the technical and commercial tender evaluation.
• Provide data acquisition input to the drilling programme.
• Advise the drilling engineers on geology related matters.
• Preliminary interpret well data for real time evaluation.
• Support decision on casing and coring points.
• Support drilling team with information on formation changes and assist in bit trip decisions.
• Interface with relevant contractors and ensure the services are according to GDF SUEZ requirements.
• Perform quality control on well data acquisition.
• Build and manage well data base.
• Check contractors performances.

• Bachelor Degree in Geology or similar from a recognized university.
• 10+ years of industry experience as operation geologist.
• Direct experience in offshore geological well operations.
• Very good knowledge of English language essential.
• Regional experience from Arabian Gulf preferred.
• Computer Literate.

• Safety oriented and must show personal safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
