Main Job Function:
As a member of the Core Team, HSEQ Coordinator is to act as a focal point for all HSEQ Coordinators for all Project Execution Health, Safety and Environmental issues, providing support and advice, and ensuring that the Work Packages/Contractors follow Company requirements and industry best practice in all HSEQ matters.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Ensure the application of the HSE Integrated Management System within Project Execution and among Work Packages
• Ensure the management for HSE issues within Project Execution (risk management, procedures, emergency plan etc)
• Ensure reporting to VP Project Execution
• Ensure the adequate interface with all other departments (e.g. Eni Zubair HSEQ Manager)
• Provide support to the individual teams in handling project scope changes and on all aspects of HSEQ
• Provide adequate and continuous assessments of the safety and environmental capabilities of contractors
• Integrate and coordinate the HSEQ project plans and activities of the Work Packages
• Develop the high-level HSEQ project plan in collaboration with WP managers/WP Project HSEQ Coordinators
Candidate Specifications:
• Relevant university level degree
• Several years experience in an HSEQ role involving multiple projects within the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in an HSEQ leadership role
• Well developed problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Ability to deliver results through others
• Fluent in English
