Offshore Well Services Supervisor - Maersk Oil, Denmark
With an increasing and continuing activity level in the Danish North Sea, Maersk Oil is looking for experienced Well Services Supervisors.
The Well Services Department is located in Esbjerg and is responsible for completions, well interventions and well maintenance in approx. 400 wells.
Qualifications
The Maersk Oil safety policy is based on an "Incident-Free" environment and applicants shall be a team player with a strong safety drive. Integrity, trustworthiness are other important key words. Technically, you shall be able to demonstrate supervisor level experience in our key disciplines:
• Supervision of well completion and workover operations on offshore drilling rigs in cooperation with the drilling teams, hereunder supervision of completion and work-over programmes and stimulation, well test and clean-out operations
• Supervision of well interventions on offshore production platforms, including planning and coordination of coil tubing, wire line, logging, stimulation, clean-out, conformance control and other well servicing operations
• Well maintenance and well integrity management is also an important part of the job.
Personnel skills.
Personnel skills shall include minimum 5 years experience in above key disciplines on a supervisory level and the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate a high level of leadership in HSE
• Active management of service providers offshore to ensure a safe and efficient operation
• actively pursue continuous improvement of techniques, procedures and programmes
• Interface with platform/rig management to ensure appropriate control of simultaneous operations and facility interfaces.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for on-site safety, well control and environment on the work site
• Make sure operations are carried out in a safe and efficient way
• Keep good communication with platform personnel
• Lead and coordinate operation with onboard service personnel
• Make daily written operations report
• On a day-to-day basis communicate with the onshore supervisor in charge
• Be innovative and progressive in terms of the operation and new technology
