Seadrill is looking for experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our expanding fleet of new Jack-ups Rigs operating in the South East Asia region.
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment in accordance with the Seadrill core values (SAILP) and TEMPO).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To ensure that all maintenance work is performed safely, and in accordance with statutory and company regulations and good engineering practice.
To liaise with the Technical Section Leader regarding maintenance / repairs and planning ahead so as to maximise operational uptime.
Use preventative maintenance programme in accordance with Company requirements and as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
Be familiar with changes in regulations and requirements pertaining to the safe operation of electronic / electrical equipment in hazardous areas.
Carry out planned safety inspections as requested and in accordance with the Company Safety Policy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification
HNC / ONC Mechanical or equivalent, minimum recognised Trade Apprenticeship
Must have four years experience as a Rig Electrician and be competent in the repair, maintenance and operation of electrical
power generation and distribution systems, cranes, cyberbase rig control, rig auxiliary equipment, major drilling equipment and rig skidding and jacking systems.
