We are looking for experienced OIM's to join our expanding fleet of new Jack-ups Rigs operating in the South East Asia region.
The Toolpusher is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig, personnel, equipment and resources, during day shift and night shift, engaged in the drilling of all oil and gas wells in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate regulatory agencies, the company and customers.
Job description
- Assist the OIM in conjunction with customer representatives to make technical decisions based on rig capabilities and company policies.
- Responsible for management, training and evaluation of employees
- Responsible for keeping the OIM informed of critical operations decisions and potential problems.
- Participate fully in all safety initiatives and safety programs.
- Monitor personnel and equipment under their control for compliance with statutory requirements and Seadrill policies and procedures.
- Responsible for instructing and exercising the crew in their well control duties
- Must be able to act as the "Person in Charge" in the absence of the OIM
- Provide advice, training and/or assistance through own qualifications and knowledge and expertise, to all employees, either directly via delegation or nomination.
Job Requirements
- Must have a current certificate of proficiency by an accredited well control school supervisor's level.
- Must have all normal offshore related safety courses.
- Must have proven history working on and a clear career progression working offshore drillings unit including significant time as a Driller and Assitant Driller
Seadrill Toolpushers in the Asia Region work on 28 day rotations.
