Under general supervision, provide support to a broad range of marketing and sales groups using some independent judgment and discretion based on knowledge of company products and services.
DUTIES
Evaluate technical specifications and problems provided by Clients and potential Customers and develop technical and commercial solutions. Also prepare, assist or oversee as required the preparation of technical methodologies, price quotes, proposals and tender offers and tracking these documents as to current status.
Interact with the commercial, operational and legal groups to gather information required to complete proposals and terms and conditions. Coordinate the flow of this information between the VP of US Services, Area Management and Sales in the preparation and distribution of pricing proposals,
Interface directly with customers on defining technical methodologies and contract pricing negotiations.
Complete customer questionnaires
Manage the flow of various legal contracts and documents from the various regions between the Legal, Sales, Credit, Tax, Risk Management, QHSE departments and other Weatherford divisions.
Assist the Technical Papers Committee to encourage Weatherford employees in the preparation and presentation of technical papers.
Assist in the resolution of various issues arising from audits undertaken by customers.
Act as a liaison between Regional Operations, Corporate Sales, Risk Management, Safety and Tax.
Knowledge and interpretation of algorithms, complex mathematical modeling experience and equations.
3 years in the oil and gas industry preferred and knowledge of pre commissioning.
QUALIFICATIONS
Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
Proven ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
Knowledge of how departments interact to achieve corporate goals
Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry
Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
Bachelor's Degree of Science preferred
3 years experience as an estimator preferred
