Job Description:
|
 - Provides preventative and corrective field mechanical service on diesel engines on site at client locations.
- This position will be for the After Market Services Group and will work call-out, based out of the Broussard, LA office.
- Comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Performs maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed.
- Responds to emergency maintenance calls.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent .
- Minimum of two or more years of diesel engine repair related skills, experience and/or training.
- Possess thorough knowledge of Detroit, Cummings, Caterpillar and Waukesha engines.
- Must be willing to travel extensively.
- Drive and work in inclement weather conditions.
- Has own tools.
- Read, write, speak and understand basic English.
- Customer Service orientation.
- Has a valid driver's license.
- Candidates must live in the general operating area of Broussard, LA in order to respond to maintenance calls.
Desired:
- Engine schools / training.
- Prior offshore experience.
- Basic computer skills and ability to be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
