Job Description:
|
 Position Summary: Entry level position that fabricates precision parts for equipment. Performs a variety of duties, standardized assignments and projects of basic to moderate complexity, using some independent judgment and established procedures and policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleans equipment and makes ready for inspection
- Operates various machine shop equipment
- May assists in troubleshooting and making repairs to production fixtures and machinery, when necessary
- Works closely with more senior machinist
- Immediate supervision. Requires frequent guidance on more complicated problems and projects
- Must be willing to be on 24 hr call-out, in a rotation.
Required Skills or Tools:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English
Preferred Education/Experience:
- High School degree plus one to two years experience as a machinist in a prototype shop environment
- C&C software experience also a plus
