Job Description:
WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Primary Job Responsibilities

    • Hire, train, manage, and evaluate warehouse employees
    • Adjust staffing levels as necessary to increase productivity and profitability
    • Primarily responsible for planning, controlling and directing all activities necessary for the efficient operation of all inventory management, order selecting, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse activities
    • Control storage and organization activities to ensure maximum operating efficiency and customer service
    • Establish and monitor operational procedures to verify incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Maintain physical condition of warehouse and equipment to create a safe environment and safe working conditions for all employees
    • Secure warehouse content against loss or damage
    • Strong expectation for cross-training into other areas of Operations
    • Perform driver duties, when required

Job Requirements

    • Warehouse management experience with leading teams, setting goals and conducting annual performance reviews
    • Understanding of the basic computer flow transactions - receiving, locator maintenance, shipping documents, etc.
    • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining an accurate and efficient warehouse operation
    • Maintain inventory and service levels to meet all customer requirements
    • Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment
    • Load and unload trucks, safely utilizing material handling equipment
    • Perform customer deliveries, when necessary - must have clean driving record
    • Maintain clean & safe environment
    • Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work in a team environment
    • Computer skills (MS Office - Excel & Word) and SAP Inventory / Warehouse
