Job Description:
Rigzone.com, a business unit of Dice Holdings, Inc., and the Gateway to the Oil and Gas Industry, providing industry news and information, the Online Oil & Gas Directory, careers, a classifieds marketplace, and more, has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Account Executive in it's Cypress, Texas office.

This position will work to establish, maintain and grow relationships with existing and perspective Rigzone.com clients to achieve maximum revenue potential.

Essential Functions:

    • Monthly and long-term renewals of designated client contracts
    • Answer incoming calls and/or route calls according to proper department and/or representatives
    • Use retention efforts effectively to reduce cancellation of designated clients
    • Address accounting issues on designated accounts
    • Sell new products and/or up-sell designated client base to maximize revenue and maintain business relationships
    • Address over-usage issues on designed accounts
    • Take care of customers' questions and needs relative to sales related issues
    • Possess a positive, proactive attitude and demonstrate appropriate interpersonal communication and organizational
      skills to contribute effectively to a team environment.
    • Identify and communicate key competitive challenges in the workplace
    • Ability to troubleshoot issues and handle challenging situations with clients
    • Work with customer support to ensure complete and timely client support
    • Attain established goals set by self and direct report

Additional Responsibilities:

    • Occasional travel to tradeshows
    • Accountable for meeting criteria set forth in quarterly and annual reviews
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned by direct report

Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Sales or a related field or equivalent proven experience
    • Proven B2B sales ability/ experience - minimum 4 years
    • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience with a CRM system
    • Oil industry experience and knowledge a plus
