Job Description:

Responsibilities :

  • Execute and optimize inventory and materials management strategies in support of maintenance, construction, drilling, and projects for multiple US Onshore Gas operations sites to ensure materials are staged and readily available when required
  • Develop inventory turnaround and site operated project support plans
  • Align inventory stocking strategies and warehouse operations to meet business objectives
  • Work closely with Operations Managers and Field Supervisors
  • Manage warehouse operations budget
  • Execute investment recovery process for surplus materials in accordance with established controls and systems
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to reach Operational Excellence "world-class" standard
  • Ensure inventory and materials management activities are aligned with Goal Zero, Operational Excellence standards, COPAS and SOX business controls, and Sustainable Development standards and objectives
  • Provide leadership and training to contractor warehouse operations staff based at multiple field locations to ensure the proper application of inventory/materials guidelines and standards
  • Monitor KPIs to achieve inventory accuracy and availability goals
  • Held accountable for performance up to 10 field-based contractors in multiple locations
  • Manage over $50 million inventory value (store/project stock, critical spares, and surplus)
  • Interfaces with Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, Construction Managers, and CP Category Managers

Requirements :

  • Must have the legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or other relevant field of study
  • Minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in Contracts & Procurement, Inventory Management or Business Support Systems
  • Must have the availability and flexibility to travel up to 20% to vendor sites, warehouse locations and other venues as dictated by the business
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP, Maximo, or other Inventory Management Systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Exploration and Production business is preferred
  • Experienced in the application of HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) Management Systems
  • Demonstrated knowledgeable in Materials Processes and Accounting/Finance Standards including COPAS
  • Demonstrated experience working on diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders demands and issues on a Global scale
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
