Job Description:

Gaffney, Cline & Associates, a division of Baker Hughes, has an immediate opening for a Geoscientist.

In addition to reservoir engineering, GCA advises a wide group of clients in exploration, reservoir evaluation, field development, drilling and production, pipeline, refining and LNG projects throughout the world.

GCA has principal offices in London, Houston, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Singapore and Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide geological input using appropriate techniques and technologies to provide world class solutions for the client.
  • Support multi-disciplinary projects, including resource evaluations, unitisation and redetermination assessments, and field development studies.
  • Present data, interpretation and reports as part of the larger project team.
  • Provide geoscience support to colleagues.
  • Assist the business development team.

Skill Requirements:
  • Geologist with exposure in the following areas: geological mapping; geomodelling and seismic interpretation with experience of petrophysical analysis and reservoir engineering principles through working in integrated teams.
  • Ability to work independently, and deliver as part of a team.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Capable of travel flexibility.
Education/Experience:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Geoscience, or similar.
