Role Synopsis Baker Hughes offers opportunities for qualified people who want to grow in our high performance organization. We are currently recruiting for an Team Lead - Electronic Production to join the Baker Hughes team supporting our Manufacturing Department located at our Rankin Road facility in Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Works directly in the electronic assembly and manufacturing department for product sold by the company. Lead the daily work of employees to ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality programs. Coordinate activities with supervisor regarding daily duties and long range work schedules. Recommend and schedule overtimes needed. Ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain department records in Excel as required. Perform advanced technical duties as required which includes electronic production. Requires working overtime and responding to emergency call-outs to other Baker Hughes facilities when necessary. May need to provide direct production hours as needed. May give feedback on employee's performance for yearend evaluation purposes. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years' experience in electronic production. Full understanding of processes, procedures and safety risks associated with the electronic production. Hands on electronic production experience a must. Demonstrate leadership and personal discipline in performing all assigned tasks to ensure product quality and safe operation for all employees. Knowledge of products and understanding of QC analysis, performing root cause analysis and make recommend adjustments. Desired/Preferred Qualifications Prior SAP or other ERP experience is preferred. An intermediate skill with Microsoft Excel is desired. Prefer at least 6 months of supervisory experience of 15-20 staff members. Prior experience within a high stress department with constant employee involvement is highly preferred. Other Details Must be flexible to work within a dynamic environment where changes take place every hour. The production department works 365 days a year, must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
