Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains assigned trucks, ships, and related equipment in accordance with operating specifications. Routinely welds, paints and refurbish equipment. Conducts mechanical inspections. May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment. Maintains records. Schedules maintenance of equipment . May direct the work of other mechanics. Handles special projects, as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Seeking Candidates that have 5+ years of experience as a Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Lead Diesel Mechanic. must have experience working with Detroit, Cummins, CAT or Deutz engines. Candidates must have own tools.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
an associates in Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Heavy Equipment Mechanics or 5+ years of experience.
