Organization
• Manages:
Any Crewmembers or Vendors working on BOP
• Reports to:
Duties
• Comply with all Ensco HSE policies as outlined in Ensco's QSMS document
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all subsea equipment including but not limited to:
BOP stack and associated components of MUX control system
BOP handling equipment (Bop Crane, Transporter, Bulkhead Guides, Sea Fasteners, X-Mas Tree Cart and mini-carts)
Subsea High Pressure Unit, BOP Fluid Mixing System, and associated accumulators
BOP Test Stump
Crown Mounted Compensator
Active Heave Compensator
Marine Drilling Riser
Riser hydraulic handling equipment (Riser Yoke, Riser Trolley, etc.)
Marine Riser Tensioners and associated equipment
HP Compressors and Standby APV's
Diverter, Diverter Control System and Diverter System Valves
Choke and Kill Manifold and associated control system
Moonpool maintenance baskets
MUX and Hotline Reels
Moonpool drape hoses
• Coordinate all maintenance with Rig management and HOD's to ensure minimum impact on operations.
• Being responsible for the Marine Riser, keeps a written record of seal inspections and keeps the "Riser Master List" updated.
• Makes space out calculation and prepares riser running sheet for each riser run.
• Monitors slip joint bearing and tensioner ring during heading changes.
• Documents equipment historical data for the purpose of reliability analysis and planning necessary upgrades.
• Provides Handover to the oncoming Subsea Engineer providing a seamless transition of work during tour changes and works over at the request of the Senior Subsea when necessary
• Performs periodic inventory of spare parts for all Subsea systems to ensure minimal downtime advising the Senior Subsea of any low stock levels.
• Makes Subsea department weekly maintenance system entries to document work done including Preventive and corrective actions.
• Performs Subsea department daily checks filling out the checklist for submission to the Senior Subsea.
• Participates in weekly Stop tour with Subsea Department Personnel selecting a different area each week
• Ensures order, cleanliness and housekeeping in his areas of responsibility.
• Keep written hand-over notes documenting all maintenance performed during hitch to ensure efficient and accurate transfer of information. Riser Ton Miles should be included in this report.
• Attend Company training as outlined in the Training Matrix for Deep Water GOM
Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 4 Years onboard a Drilling Vessel with 1 year working in Subsea department.
• Complete Competency requirements IAW Ensco Competence Management Manual ENSCO-04-01 Section 2.6.6
