 WTS Energy is seeking to hire an Engineering Coordinator for one of its client who is an international Oil & Gas operating company. He/She is involved in coordinating engineering activities facilitating timely issue of all engineering documents for their assigned project (enquiry/ job) and coordinating between the engineering disciplines involved in their project.
The responsibilities of Engineering Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:
Coordination of disciplines for a project.
Liaison with/reporting to PEM
Provide input for Schedule and Budget for project
Approval of some engineering document for project
Coordinate inputs for Engineering deliverable register
Technical assistance and support during project
Completion of as-built documents
Technical liaison with Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors
Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
Requirements:
Engineering Coordinator will have degree in in Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supervising similar engineering projects.
Organisational awareness.
Planning & organising skills.
Influencing skills.
Adequate knowledge of interdisciplinary interfaces.
Basic knowledge of Engineering software.
Written and spoken English.
Good technical knowledge and skills.
Communication skills and Highly motivated.
More Details:
Work schedule: 6:2 weeks.
Initial Contract of 12 months (Option to extend).
For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy
