 Marine Superintendent - Aberdeen - 58163
Change Internationals client, a leading global operator now requires a Marine Superintendent to join them in their Aberdeen office. This is an excellent opportunity for an OIM or Barge Master with FPSO experience to move onshore and join a reputable international operator.
As Marine Superintendent your primary responsibility will be to support the marine operations of the installations and FPSO's operating in the UK North Sea. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Overall coordination of Marine Operation activities
- Ensure that marine operations are planned and executed with safety as a priority
- Cooperate with relevant authorities and certification agencies to ensure installations and compliant
- Maintain and develop marine operating procedures
- Ensure adequate competency of marine crews
- Facilitate Audits
- Coordination of vessels operating within the 500m zone including DSV's, Supply and Subsea Construction vessels.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as OIM or Barge Master onboard an FPSO
- Qualified as a Master Mariner, Marine Engineer, Barge Master or OIM
- Good understanding of Marine Operations
- FPSO experience
- Able to work from the Aberdeen office Monday to Friday
Base Salary £75000 p/a
Benefits:
- 25% non contributory pension adjustable to 10% to raise base salary by 15%
- £6000 travel allowance
