We are the partner of major players in the oil and gas industry and energy sector. Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Saint Petersburg. The Project Engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas EPC's project.
Activities:
- Review the pre-project studies, basis of design, scope of work, and contractual documents.
- Ensure that Company's reference documents are understood and applied (directives, rules, specifications).
- Ensure that the design is developed in line with the company's Requirements, the Contract itself, Western and Russian Codes/Standards.
- Drive execution of engineering with coordination of ENGINEER, review progress, control and comment documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering,
- Project management, fabrication and tests, and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules. Review and answer to the Technical Queries and follow of waiver requests.
- Ensure optimisation of design in terms of costs, quality and delays related to the
Project expected achievements.
- Provide support to the call for tender preparation, Technical evaluation, recommendation to Award for any purchase or works execution contract.
- Manage COMPANY team specialists for all these purposes. (Definition of priorities, daily follow-up of progress made, organisation of internal meetings to review status and proper exchange of the information, etc)
- Call for and participate to any necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work.
- Liaise with the operating team to collect necessary data for the project.
- Provide support to construction and commissioning activities
- Participate to site visits as necessary.
- Provide to the Package Manager, all relevant information needed for Project reporting, highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 7 years experience in the energy industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
