Workover Superintendent
Job Summary:
Responsible for safe, cost effective delivery of all company well work activity which requires a blowout preventer (BOP). Oversee workover specialists and be accountable for working with the assets to maintain schedule, and recommend and secure workover services.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree in an oil and gas related field preferred.
Fifteen years experience in workovers and/or completions. Experience with a variety of well types (e.g. shallow gas wells, horizontal oil wells)
Well control certification.
Demonstrate and ensure a safe work environment.
Advanced understanding completions, down hole workover tools, artificial lift systems, coil tubing, and snubbing operations.
Problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and/or supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets, and drilling data information systems.
Extensive travel.
