Coiled Tubing for Canada*
Job Title: Coiled Tubing
Hours: Full Time
Pay: DOE + overtime
Position Type: Direct Hire
Location: Canada
SOS is looking for several Coil Tubing Positions: Service Supervisor, Service Operator, Pumping Service Supervisor, Pumper Service Operator
Job Capsule:
Under general supervision, promotes excellent customer relations at the worksite. Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed. Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators and operator assistants during the equipment rig up and rig down on a location and the preparation of equipment for performing a job. Provides planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and dispute resolutions to approved levels.
Requirements:
Must have exceptional skills within the service line and a general understanding of multi-Product Service Line (PSL) service functions.
The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
Basic computer skills are required.
Must have successfully completed Coil Tubing I, Coil Tubing II, and Well Control training.
Maintains coil tubing pre-requisite skill sets (essential math, essential red book coil tubing I,II,III, Insite and Supervisory well control
Must understand Well Bore schematic, analyze computer programs (IWI) and operational procedures.
Maintain skill set required to review well bore schematics for job planning and execution. Given the nature of oil field service work, must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. Must possess good leadership and negotiating skills.
Demonstrates ability to rig up Coiled Tubing equipment deployed in the Country/NWA. Maintain skill set required to troubleshoot equipment.
Complete Career Development System (competency) requirements which include both on-the-job and formal training.
Physical Demand Statement:
H-Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Working Conditions:
Day to day job activities involve strenuous work and exposure to conditions or situations in which there is danger to life or health or could cause bodily injury. These hazards include exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock, working on scaffolding in high places, exposure to burns or radiant energy, exposure to explosives, and exposure to toxic chemicals.
This position is 100% out door work with lots of O.T. This is a great starting place to grow with a great company in the gas and oil industry!
Class A CDL is a plus
