Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for a Mechanical Static Design Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Specialization in refractory or non-metallic materials
• Shutdown planning and risk based assessments
• Provide expert advice on the design, selection, installation, quality assurance, start-up, shut-down and inspection of refractory lined or non-metallic equipment and systems
• Specification review and prequalification
• Turnaround inspection, repair recommendations, and overall quality assurance

Essentials:

• Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
• 5-20 years of professional experience in the Mechanical Static discipline
• BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• a sound background in engineering, as well as knowledge in the field of process technology, equipment design, and failure mechanisms
• Extensive plant and project experience involving design, troubleshooting, maintenance, mechanical and static inspections, technical specifications and Mechanical-Static Designs
• Knowledge of oil, petrochemical, and gas Mechanical-Static Design international standards such as API, ASME and ISO
• Good commercial awareness and project skills
• Experience of mechanical and piping design, construction materials and design safety
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to listen well, good organizational skills, self motivated to learn, successful experience working as part of a team being comfortable with change and being able to respond rapidly to it
