We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with solid sourcing and procurement experience for commodities and services supporting major capital projects in the Oil & Gas industries. Attributes of our global professionals include: a dedication to client service, the ability to think in complex and ever changing situations, strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems, execute and transfer knowledge. Professional Qualifications: - Capital project procurement experience around gas pipelines preferably. Upstream or downstream capital project experience would be acceptable.
- Maximo and SAP experience is a plus.
- Beneficial to have commodity buying experience with pipe, highly engineered valves and fittings, instrumentation, compression equipment, electrical equipment.
- Experience working with project managers, engineers, expediting firms, logistics team and suppliers.
- Must have very good communication skills.
- Must be excellent at developing bid packages, reviewing bid responses, creating bid tabs and making recommendations on bid award.
