Job Description:
Responsibilities/Duties  

    * Assures that mechanical construction supervisors plan, coordinate, supervise and inspect the construction, testing and commissioning of facilities by RRC employees and subcontractors on schedule. Oversees a project from start to finish, scheduling, and coordinate efforts with other construction personnel, conduct meetings.
    * Provides input into the design and improvement of the equipment described below
    * Able to read and understand Flow and P&ID diagrams and design drawings  
    * Material procurement - Read bill of material. Work with Purchasing to ensure that the right material is on site on schedule. Upon Material Delivery - inspect parts to ensure quality specs are met
    * Work with Purchasing to develop bid packages. Help prepare estimates and justifications for AFE's for work to be completed.
    * Understand safety systems - ESD activation, safety shut down devices and set points, pressure relief valves
    * Turn over the completed facility to those who will operate the facility. Complete assured competency check sheet during the facility inspection with operations personnel.
    * Hydrostatic testing - identifies all components to be included in the pressure test. Schedules the test.
    * Assists with the identification of new pipeline routes & facility locations
    * Non Destructive testing - radiographic and liquid magnetic particle
    * Ensure proper compaction of pad and installation of foundations
    * Knowledge of pipeline construction permit requirements - stream crossings and road boring, etc

Required Skills  

    * Beneficial - DOT pipeline operator certification
    * Beneficial - equipment operation experience - excavators, dozers
    * Beneficial - welding experience
    * Supervisory / Leadership experience
    * Certificates, license and cards related to the area of expertise
    * Proven Leadership skills. Ability to keep highly confident construction managers focused on priorities.
    * Strong organizational skills / attention to detail / ability to multi task several priorities and project responsibilities.
    * Demonstrated project management skills. Controls schedule and cost. Coordinates material delivery. Identifies and mitigates risks.
    * Strong interpersonal and communications skills to deal with vendors and construction team members.
    * Safety minded and willingness for receiving both required and ongoing mandatory safety training as a condition of employment
    * Minimum: Windows file manager, Excel, Word, Email Beneficial: AutoCAD, Power Point, citrix, cygnet, site view, well view, production explorer, Microsoft Publisher, Project, Paint
    * Codes - Understand and assure code compliance: DOT 192, ASME B31.8, API, NFPA, OSHA, Environmental regulations.
    * Knowledgeable of equipment - the installation, operation and troubleshooting of storage tanks, liquid dump systems, condensate and water, , over pressure protection, venting, draining, drip tanks, control valves, vapor destruction and vapor recovery units, containment, filter separators, dehydration, manual & automated chokes, launcher and receivers, gas measurement, above and below ground high pressure pipe, welding procedures, valves, fittings, welded and threaded connections, knocker unions, pipe supports, safety valves, relief valves, compression, safety systems, plunger lift equipment, gas production units, indirect fired heaters.

Required Experience  

    * High school education and 10 years of related work experience or a technical degree in engineering or project management and 5+ years of relevant work experience
