· Lead/participate in integrated research team with development and implementation of velocity estimation and imaging solutions addressing complex imaging challenges
· Follow-up of external development
· Current main focus in the department is development and implementation of integrated imaging and interpretation solutions bridging knowledge and technology from different disciplines in geophysics and geology Qualifications

· Masters Degree · 5-15 years experience within geo-science, relevant to geophysical reservoir monitoring, seismic imaging and velocity model building, acquisition design and seismic modeling
· US Work authorization ·

· 10+ years experience in relevant geo-sciences (background from both applied geo-science and research are preferred)
· Experience related to following development from feasibility, through implementation to an optimized production version
· PhD Personal qualities
· The successful candidate will be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and knowledge sharing skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
· To succeed in this position it is critical that you enjoy working with other technical specialists in your own field and also those that you interface with, including geophysicists, interpreters, structural geologist, rock-physicists and petro-physicists
· To enjoy working in this position you will need to be comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams and additionally as an extended team member on varied short and long term projects
