Air Energi is a company specialized in Oil and Gas Sector which works with Operator, Contractor and Subcontractor as a recruitment company.
As a recruiter, I am looking for an Inspection Engineer for the Maintenance & Inspection department of the E&P branch of our client.
The position is based in France with many projects on international travel.
My client is an Operator.
Responsibilities:
The Inspection Engineer is responsible to maintain, develop, update and promote strategies and inspection methods to be applied in E&P subsidiaries aboard in accordance with national laws and international standards.
For the Inspection Subsidiary Manager, the Inspection Engineer provides a technical assistance for the implementation of applicable inspection strategies.
For the Maintenance & Inspection Project Leaders, the Inspection Engineer provides a technical support for the inspection engineering design in accordance with the standard of the company.
According a multi-year program, the Inspection Engineer conducts some Inspection/Corrosion audits and some technical subsidiaries reviews.
Thus, the Inspection Engineer helps to maintains competences in the field of inspection, to ensuring the integrity of facilities, to the serviceability of the equipment throughout its use.
Skills and experience:
Master degree in Mechanical or Material engineering.
Knowledge of international codes and standards ASME, ASTM, NACE, etc.
Expertise in material, metallurgy, welding, degradation modes (corrosion, structural), protection modes (coating/painting, cathodic protection) and inspection techniques.
Skills to assess the serviceability of pressure equipment.
Skills in CMMS and Risk Based Inspection methods
Languages: English necessary, French an advantage
