* Provide technical oversight for piping, pressure vessel and static equipment facility design modifications and upgrades.
* Provide specialized knowledge of structural stress analysis, piping supports and in-service welding.
* Responsible for providing mechanical engineering support on projects
* Advise operations management on assigned mechanical engineering issues
* Support capital projects with development multimillion $ project portfolio
* Assist asset integrity team in carrying out fitness for service assessment for pressure containment equipment and piping
* Determine appropriate repair techniques and developing designs, including mechanical sleeves, mechanical clamps, composite wraps etc.
* Direct the activities of EPC contractors and mentor junior engineers
* Conduct management of change reviews related to mechanical discipline

* Bachelor of Mechanical engineering degree.
* 8 years post-graduation experience in mechanical engineering
* Demonstrated HSE performance.
* Familiarity with welding techniques and preparation of weld specification procedures
* Knowledge through direct experience of mechanical equipment found in oil and gas processing facilities including pressure vessels, valves.
* Fully familiar with regulations and use of standards
* Experience with "Brown field" modifications including in service welding.
