Working jointly in a multidisciplinary team to help understand petroleum systems, risk and uncertainties for basin assessment and in prospect analysis.
Performs geological and geophysical interpretations of subsurface data (seismic and well logs) in addition to regional geology, outcrops and other data to support exploration activities.
Basin assessment and prospect generation.
Working within a multidisciplinary team to develop prospects and to make recommendations on drilling locations and field data gathering activities such including seismic and well logging plans.
Preparation of communication materials with other team members for presentation to management.
Manage Opportunity Assessments, and working on maturing projects with partner companies, coordinating exploration activities.

5-10 years experience in the oil industry and a master'a degree in geology or geophysics and related professions.
Ability to think independently and to analyze geological information to synthesize novel concepts in frontier basins are very important skills. Workstation experience, RUSSIAN and ENGLISH fluency both written and oral, plus the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are all essential skills.
Experience in West Siberia (any region) or East Siberia (Yakutia, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk) will be a plus.
