Job Description:

1. Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority.
2. Ensure that Process Safety and Risk Management principles are incorporated into the foundation of department operations. Ensure annual departmental goals and objectives include meaningful Process Safety activities for all levels of the organization.
3. Provide attention to detail, and dedication to work in order to ensure reliability of the work site as well as high quality product.
4. Ensure that yourself and others are respected, supported and encouraged to grow and succeed in their job.
5. Manage Houston Operations PVC plants production schedules and raw material procurement to ensure our customers' requirements are met, considering plant capabilities and OxyVinyls' business practices.
6. Supervise Customer Supply personnel to ensure shipments are made that meets customers' requirements.
7. Maintain an overview of supply chain logistics reporting to ensure accuracy of SAP Materials Management system and all requirements for SOX reporting are met.
8. Prepare timely and accurate reports regarding production and inventories and convey to plant and corporate personnel.
9. Provide plant level SAP & LIMS Core User support and training for Customer Supply, Materials Management and Product Quality. Maintain master data in SAP.
10. Assist in corporate initiatives for improving Supply Chain Logistics.
11. Foster business participation and involvement from plant personnel by being an active member of the Houston PVC ISO Team.
12. Promote OxyVinyls Houston Operations PVC plants by interacting with customers.
13. Ensure customer complaints are investigated, resolved, and closed in a timely manner.
14. Act as Hazardous Materials Coordinator for Houston Operations PVC/Caustic/KOH by providing knowledge and awareness of Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Regulations to plant personnel.

Desired Skills:
College degree with at least 5 years relevant experience - logistics preferred. Supervisory and SAP experience a must.
