Job Description:

Baker Hughes has an opening for a Mechanical Assembler to: Assemble serialized pumps, motors, seals, gas separators and intakes or straighten shafts. Perform functional testing on assemblies, test assemblies per customer and/or product line criteria. Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools.

2nd shift located in Broken Arrow, OK. Work schedule is Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 2+ years previous manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in reading/interpreting assembly blueprints and following written and verbal work instructions.
  • Candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be mechanically inclined.
  • Knowledge of machines, hand tools and power tools needed for assembly.
  • A basic understanding of the form and function of assembly components will be required as most assemblies are built without drawings or documentation.
  • Candidate will perform repetitive mechanical assembly or shaft straightening, all necessary transactions and paperwork.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer previous assembly experience, serialized equipment testing, shaft straightening and /or sub-assembly experience a plus.
