At Baker Hughes the purpose of this role is to:

As part of the global inventory team, manages the business unit distribution centre and provides the necessary inventory management support to operations in multiple regions. Controls the distribution plant such that it complies with company policy. Works with operations to identify SLOB and acts as the catalyst to process the necessary paperwork for approval. When excess inventory lists are generated from operations, provides the required feedback on disposition. Provide inventory management training to operations at a district level. Works with operations to identify gaps in local inventory practices and drives initiatives. Communicates inventory best practices inside the organization. Helps identify the specifics to drive towards supply hubs at a region or district level. Provides support to the inventory team as it relates to inventory netting, cycle counts, and physical stock takes. Handles special projects, as assigned.

Education/Experience/Training required to do this role:

Bachelors' degree. 7+ years' oilfield service product line experience and knowledge. APICS certification required.

Skills/Knowledge required to do this role:

Knowledge of oilfield service product lines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills.
