As a Financial Analyst with Baker Hughes you will be given the opportunity to further your career with a global leader in the Oil Field Services industry. Responsibilities:
- Understanding of BHI monthly Inventory Standard Processes
- Understanding of PPV accounts for amortization and capitalization and liase with EFO team for any month end adjustments
- Validate that purchases, transfers ,and inventory sales adjustments are being booked
- Calculate and monitor Reserves for Inventories and Raw Materials
- Analysis of Inventories
- Review capital works in progress and ensure assets are capitalised in a timely manner
- Understanding of standard monthly GPA and GPI entries in HFM and work with the EFO team to process any month end adjustments
- Review month end Repair and Maintenance charges accruals via the Work Order system
- Maintain and develop as appropriate, control procedures and processes around financial reporting & analyses.
- Prepare and review ad-hoc financial reporting information for tax and audit purposes
- Support the preparation and review of month end reconciliations prepared in Blackline reconciliation tool by both in house and by outsource provider personnel
- Monitor and support the EFO teams to ensure that reconciling items are being followed up and cleared within policy.
- Participate in Quality Management Process to focus on continuous improvement and quality service
- Delivery of 'best in class' service and provide ad hoc project support as required
Skill Requirements/Experience:
- Comprehensive Knowledge and Experience of Financial Principles and Practices
- Experience of Hyperion/HFM Reporting System preferred but not essential
- Experience of SAP preferred but not essential
- Exposure to US GAAP Reporting preferred but not essential
- Customer Focused
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to handle change
- Organized, Detailed and Good Time Management
- Commitment to BHI Core Values
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent with at least 5 years financial experience
- CA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
