Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities May work in any of the following disciplines: Quality, Software,Mechanical, R&D, Petroleum, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or Reservoir.Plans and conducts research, design and development of standard engineering assignments. Assignments can be a significant portion of alarger project. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations. Assesses results for applicability,validity and conformance to specifications. May be the lead engineer onsmaller project with some functional supervision. Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters. May be assisted by entry or junior or level personnel. Assists in projectplanning and review. Assignments are broad in nature, requiringoriginality and ingenuity. Assignments are reviewed for overallsoundness and adherence to stated objectives. Handles special projects,as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 2+yrs experience Or Master's Degree in Engineering and 1+ yrs experience Knowledge of MS Office applications, including some knowledge of intermediate level Excel functionality. Strong communication skills. Good organizational and time management skills. Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a challenging, fast-paced work environment. Basic technical skills. Good problem solving skills with a drive for results. Good written and verbal skills. Ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently. Must be action oriented,ethical in value, and have a strong customer focus.
