Role Synopsis

Works with Product & Technology Vice Presidents and their leadership teams in analyzing the business in order to identify development gaps and performance issues ensuring alignment with the business strategies. Serve as liaison between the training and development function and the line of business stakeholders. Strong sense of ownership for line of business problems and act as leaders for the programs or interventions that solve these issues. Maintain extensive knowledge of and relationship with Geomarkets' Managers and/or Functional groups to identify requirements in relation to training and development.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Supports the T&D team as a Business Analyst to determine core competencies required to drive the business
  • Identifies SMEs and gains their commitment
  • Determines training needs and prioritizes in conjunction with technology, marketing, and operations
  • Determines ROI for all technical training
  • Responsible for managing the scope and focus of the curriculum
  • Aligns and optimizes curricula inside and across product segments
  • Engages with content development team to identify appropriate strategies for training and assessments including social learning
  • Responsible for the life cycle of the training curricula
  • Provides feedback on the quality of the instructional design and delivery
  • Participates in Training and Development Vendor Process Management , Vendor Evaluation and ongoing Vendor Assessment

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in technical field. 3+ years product or field service experience.
  • 3+ year's functional or operational experience as coach, mentor or instructor.
  • business experience in area of responsibility

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Project Management
  • Understand of drilling & completion fluids product line.
  • General understand of collaborative learning strategies and programs
  • Gerneral understand of instructional design process and delivery methods.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • 20 to 25 % Travel
