Job Description:

Role Synopsis

The Technical Support Specialist will work with and advise operations personnel involving equipment problems, maintenance, condition, specifications and limitations.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Assists and advises operations personnel regarding equipment problems, maintenance procedures, equipment condition, equipment specifications and equipment limitations.

May assist engineering with equipment qualification testing and establishing operating and maintenance procedures.

May run prototype equipment for testing or training purposes.

Handles special projects, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

5+ years field operations experience.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

B.S. degree in Engineering preferred

Thorough understanding of product line(s) which are being supported.

Mechanical knowledge.

Knowledge of rig site environment.

Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems

Communications protocol including Modbus RTU over serial and TCP/IP

Basic electrical engineering circuit analysis.
