Technical Specialist - Artificial Lift Systems/Electrical Submersible Pumps

US Land Lift Systems product line provides artificial lift systems (ALS), including electric submersible pumps (ESP) and progressive cavity pump systems, as well as specific engineering, project management and well monitoring services. Our ESP systems can operate in harsh downhole environments that include high gas-to-oil ratio production, heavy oil, high temperatures and abrasive-laden fluids. New systems also address the needs of coal bed methane and subsea production.
 
Role Synopsis 
Under broad direction provides highly skilled expertise in Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) and Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) systems application recommendations on ALS product line.
 
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
·         Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action using various tools and means.
·         Monitors designated well system performance on assigned fields(s) and presents results to customer.
·         Manage and track status of all recommended changes on assigned field(s).
·         Provides technical consultation to customers on product / performance issues.
·         Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
·         Handles special projects as assigned.
 
Basic Qualifications
·         Bachelors degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
·         6 + years experience with in-depth knowledge of Artificial Lift Services products and services.
 
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
·         Thorough understanding of ALS & ESP Systems.
·         Working knowledge or experience in the oil field.
·         Mechanical knowledge
·         Highly skilled in multiple applications including AutographPC and Vision.
·         Able to identify the proper product and service for simple to complex applications.
·         Ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers.
