Seeking Machinists: Sets-up and operates special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers for fabrication of metallic and non-metallic parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required within the organization.

This is for the NIGHT SHIFT 2^nd and 3^rd Shifts

Qualifications

ü High School Diploma or GED

ü 1 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ü Ability to operate material moving equipment, overhead crane, and/or obtain certification.

ü Ability to read and interpret routine documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

ü Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).

ü Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.

ü Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.

ü Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, cutting torch, air tools and precision measuring equipment.

ü Good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player.

ü Must be flexible and possess the ability to following work center guidelines.
