Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for an On-Site Drilling Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Performs safe and efficient drilling operations
• Complies with drilling program procedures and works with drilling engineers on changes to established procedures, including maintaining drilling fluids per the drilling program
• Manages all drilling, cementing, testing, coring and logging operations
• Manages directional drilling parameters and targets
• Manages and supervises all well control situations
• Directs the work of services companies
• Minimizes rig lost time
• Recommends process improvements
• Communicates with headquarters on daily activities and issues that arise
• Plans, coordinates and prepares equipment and materials for use at the site and
• Manages and directs rig moves

Essentials:

• Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of experience as a company man or drilling supervisor or related experience that demonstrates rig supervision including experience in directional drilling, a familiarity with various weighted mud systems and an extensive knowledge of down hole tools and standard drilling practices
• Experience in air drilling preferred
