Role Synopsis
The Offshore Technician will perform testing, installations and servicing of the company's AZ-10 Subsea Tree and/or additional subsea equipment.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following)
• Facilitate and manage onshore System Integration Testing; Testing and flushing Workover Control Systems.
• Operating and maintaining Workover Control Systems to customer requirements during offshore operations.
• Maintaining quality of equipment, including but not restricted to Hydraulic Power Units, Reelers, Umbilical's, Surface Tree Control Panels.
• Carrying out modifications to Subsea controls equipment.
• Assist the client with the preparation of offshore equipment.
QHSE Responsibilities
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Apply Proserv, and where appropriate Client Company's, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Safety Management Systems.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. Technical Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
• Two plus years subsea equipment maintenance experience.
• Minimum two years experience working in an offshore environment.
• Good communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and safety clearances.
• Mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly experience required.
• Willingness and ability to be on 24 hour call if needed.
• Proven ability to work with little or no supervision.
Physical Requirements
• Employee is regularly required to talk and hear with close and distant vision.
• Regular pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and kneeling.
• Able to travel offshore and to foreign countries
• Able to perform installation and service of products in hazardous environments, including offshore rigs.
• Ability to work in elevated work areas with proper PPE.
