The responsibilities and description for this position are as follows:

• Reports to Subsea Quality Manager.
• Ensure conformance to the project quality plan for installation activities.
• Verify the installation contractor is following its own quality systems during installation activities and interface with the contractor's quality organization.
• Review and comment on inspection procedures for scopes of work being managed by the SSII group.
• Manage and coordinate inspectors to ensure the proper level of inspection coverage is in place for inspection activities onsite.
• Liaises with the Project Quality Lead to ensure all project Quality requirements are being incorporated into the applicable procedures and are being met during fabrication of equipment.
• Review and comment on contractor Quality Plans for scopes of work being managed by the SSII group.
• Ensure the appropriate Quality requirements are incorporated into the procurement process as per the GP-32 series ETP's.
• Review and comment on POQR's and SDRL's for scopes of work being managed by the SSII group.
• Ensure the proper review cycles and sign offs of engineering drawings are being performed by the appropriate engineers.
• Verify Client's TPI inspectors and Site Lead Quality Reps. are qualified and competent to cover a specific scope of work for SSII prior to mobilizing to site.
• Generate CTR's for inspection services.
• Liaise with SSII Installation Engineers to ensure the correct quality requirements are referenced in bid packages and other contract documents for Installation Contractors.
• Perform interim checks on SSII site quality personnel and contractor personnel to ensure that all requirements of a scope of work are being met and TPI inspectors are in compliance with the Client's Third Party Inspection Procedure doc.
• Work with Site Lead SSII Quality Rep. to ensure the latest approved procedures are available onsite for SSII inspectors. This will be defined in a Client Work Instruction to identify how the Site Quality Rep. will access Document control and distribute the approved procedures and drawings to the site inspectors.
• Liaise with GOC coordinators to ensure GOC requirements are being met for equipment that are being fabricated or handed over SSII from other groups.
• Review Final Project manuals for equipment that has been fabricated and/or installed by the SSII group.
