Savanna is now hiring Derrick hands with Workover Rig experience for Dickinson ND operations. This position helps to maintain and service producing wells back into service in the oil and gas field. This is a full time position working a typical schedule of Monday through Friday with most weekends off. Benefits start first day of hire and include medical, dental, vision & life insurance. 401K plan available!
Local candidates preferred or candidates willing to relocate to the area.
Summary of Duties:
• Watching and maintaining proper well control characteristics, the rate of fluid circulation, and the preventative maintenance program
• Safely climb on elevated platform to pull tubing or rods from wellbore to perform well service work
• Work rig floors, operating power tongs, lifting tubing or rods into place to be picked up for well servicing job.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on rig, cleaning, greasing, oil changes and other duties so assigned by rig operator.
• Help rigging up and rigging down of service rig
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year experience in Well Servicing
• Must have a Valid CDL Class B License
• Must be able to handle standing, bending, reaching for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds
• Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions; such as rain and extreme heat / cold.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening process (background,drug screen and medical)
