KCA DEUTAG is looking for an experienced, ambitious and motivated senior operational recruiter with drilling and/or maintenance experience, to join the Area HR team as Operational Recruiter.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to:
Take a global view of manpower planning and ensure the company has a 'joined up' view on resourcing requirements (i.e. awareness of worldwide downmanning and upmanning situations)
Lead weekly Recruitment / Manpower Planning meetings with Area HR Team to identify vacancies, and opportunities and manage 'At Risk' personnel
Manage International section of KCAD Career Webpage with a view to continuous improvement
Attract & source suitably qualified candidates in support of current & forecast manpower requirements
Build networks and relationships with internal and external potential recruitment resources
Research, develop and implement unique resourcing strategies to support manpower requirements
Screen, evaluate and conduct interviews of potential candidates
Recommend shortlisted candidates to Country, Operations and Rig Management teams
Provide dedicated and experienced operational support and input to the Area HR team

Highly motivated team leader with excellent skills in engaging with people
Proactive in approach to providing support function service
Excellent communication skills: fluent in written and spoken English, and able to communicate well with those who may not have English as a first language
Organised and deadline-focused, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and demands
PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel, and be capable of learning new IT skills quickly.
The successful candidate reports directly to the Area HR Business Manager and is assigned to the Aberdeen office where they will be required to work a 5 day week. Travel may be required to various locations to identify and target new markets in support of ongoing recruitment campaigns and initiatives.
