 Job description:-
Generate new piping discipline drawings (e.g. piping plans, isometrics, pipe support details, etc.) using AutoCAD or other CAD tool, either based on own information gained on site or provided by discipline engineers.
Modify existing piping discipline drawings, either based on own information gained on site or provided by discipline engineers.
Generate and modify other piping discipline documents (e.g. line lists, bill of materials, tie-in schedules, etc.).
Extract information from existing drawings (e.g. dimensions) at the request of piping discipline engineers.
Locate and extract drawings from PRODOM document management system at the request of piping discipline engineers.
Conduct offshore site surveys to obtain information necessary to develop and complete piping design.
Requirements:-
Minimum Qualification: Technical diploma in engineering with 5 to 10 years experience in an oil and gas environment.
Skilled use of AutoCAD and other CAD tools essential.
Use of MS-Office an added advantage.
Familiarity with international standards and regulations.
Team work, commitment to technical accuracy, ability to organise and execute works unassisted.
