 INPEX Corporation is an international oil and gas company with more than 70 projects across 26 countries.INPEX has been part of the Australian business community since 1986.Current projects include the Ichthys LNG Project now in the advanced stages of planning, the Darwin LNG, Van Gogh and Ravensworth projects and the Bayu-Undan Development.The Ichthys Project is the largest and most challenging in the company's history and we are recruiting the industry's best to deliver this exciting world-scale project.
INPEX is currently recruiting for an Enterprise Architect.The primary objective of this position is to develop Enterprise Level Architectures that cover the domains of business, information, applications and technology.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
* Mentor and assist the Project and Programme Team in the development of their Architectures.
* Development and continuous improvement of Principles, Standards and Guidelines to augment the Enterprise Architecture Repository.
* Assist in the development of commercially sound business cases for IM&T initiatives.
* Develop Enterprise Level Architectures that cover the domains of business, information, applications and technology.
* Identify issues, risks and opportunities through in-depth understanding of project and operations lifecycles.
* Assist the Security & Compliance practice in develop risk management plans and business continuity/disaster recovery plans.
* Ensure standards and guidelines are developed according to local, regional and international regulations.
* Engage with the business on IM&T matters with special attention to business alignment and architecture.
* Professionally represent the organisation in workshops, meetings and other Company forums.
* Establish and maintain effective professional business networks inside and outside the business.
* Proactively seek out new and innovative technologies to improve the delivery of IM&T services to the business.
* Develop long term relationships with business representatives, staff and vendors including the diverse organisation covering Exploration, Operations and Corporate Services.
* Enterprise Architecture development including Models, Principles, Standards and Guidelines.
* Assist IM&T Programme Leaders to develop the Programme's Application, Information and Technology Architectures.
* Architecture process guidance to Programmes and Projects.
* Training Solution Architects in SDLC deliverables, process, tools and standards.
* Preparation of Architecture Advice for projects.
* Promoting EA awareness in the organisation.
* Harvesting EA artefacts from projects and updating in the Enterprise Architecture Repository.
* Development of IM&T Strategies.
* Manage compliance between the enterprise architecture and solution architectures by leading and coordinating solution architecture reviews.
* Identify opportunities for reuse of architecture and/or solution components, including the creation of reference architectures.
* Manage IM&T architecture and planning projects as required.
* Ensure architecture reflects current business requirements and is up to date with current trends.
* Applicability of Principles, Standards and Guidelines to INPEX's future state.
The following Qualifications and Experience are a requirement of this position:
* Degree in IM&T or related field, or relevant experience.
* TOGAF 9 Certified (Level II), with certification or experience in other frameworks desirable.
* Ability to develop and implement Architecture, Principles, Standards, Guidelines and Training Material.
* Strong knowledge of architecture modelling tools and techniques.
* Knowledge and experience of IM&T methodologies and frameworks (such as ITIL and SDLC).
* Knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management methodologies and tools.
* Strong Oil & Gas industry, business and product knowledge.
* Several years of experience working on large projects and systems in complex environments.
* Sound understanding of the major milestones and related information requirements for large-scale projects.
* Experience in the formulation and optimisation of project portfolios and strategic roadmaps.
* Solid working knowledge of business management and strategy concepts.
* Strong experience in the creation of business cases.
* Strong large scale integration experience.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong customer focus.
* Acts with integrity.
