PPMS (80 people) is a technical assistance company to the Oil and Gas Industries. Currently we are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a mission in Niger.
Your mission: You will be responsible for management of all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
Your Functions:
- Invoices - To check the contractual conformity of Contractors/Suppliers invoices, including progress, quantities and supporting documents;
- Assist with Change Order Requests (COR) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ);
- To analyze the Change Order Requests (CORs) received from EPC Contractors and from other Contractors/Suppliers, and in particular;
- To analyze the CORs by reference to the Contractors/Purchase Orders;
- To prepare a recommendation for the Pipeline Manager;
- To co-ordinate with the Pipeline Services Lead when modifications need to be made on Agreements or on Particular
Conditions;
- Assist with Clarification/Negotiation with Contractors/Suppliers;
- To assist the Company Representative or the Site Representative during possible clarifications/negotiation with Contractors/Suppliers.
Conditions:
Location: Niger;
Rotation: 8 weeks on site / 2 weeks on leave;
Start: April 2012;
Duration: Minimum 6 months.
Profile:
- 5 to 10 years experience associated with an Oil and Gas projects or other relevant experience;
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong experience in EPC Contract and Service Contracts;
- English fluent.
