Job Description:
|
 Our client is one of the fastest growing independent crude oil and natural gas producers in the world.
Job Function:
Leadership of projects to deliver new field facilities to meet the companies business plans. This will include identifying development solutions for new facilities, setting and implementing contract strategies to deliver the facilities, developing budgets and schedules for delivery and subsequently managing the project into commissioning and handover to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and select economic oil and gas developments. Preparing the development concept and making recommendations for implementation.
Managing the interface between the project team and the other departments and developing an integrated team and work programme.
Leadership of integrated project teams and selected contracting companies.
Preparing and implementing contracting strategies and on going management of contract delivery and management of project risk and change.
Preparing and managing the project cost and schedule and providing management reports on progress.
Management of all aspects of projects which include subsea developments, topsides facilities upgrades and new field developments. The work covers design, definition, procurement, fabrication, construction planning, commissioning and integration with ongoing Production Operations during installation of topsides, subsea and riser facilities.
Ensuring delivery of the Project Design Basis to the appropriate quality in accordance with company SHE expectations.
Maintain control over the contractors activity to maintain compliance with contract value and expenditure
Requirements and Skills:
Engineering degree with supplementary courses in contract administration preferred.
Project Management qualification would also be beneficial.
Project Management experience.
Able to lead multi-discipline integrated teams.
Experience of budget, schedule and contract management.
Experience of implementing projects linked to operational facilities and platforms is also desirable.
Ability to deliver projects to meet the companies business plans.
Willingness to travel overseas, offshore and to various vendors works, fabrication and construction sites
