 Our Client - An internationally recognised Oil and Gas Operator with operations in North America, Africa and Australasia. My client is recruiting for a Senior Reservoir Engineer with experience in unconventional resources to join its growing team in South Africa on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
- You will be responsible for providing high quality reservoir/petroleum engineering support for the African Unconventional Resources project. The incumbent may also be required to assist in supporting other unconventional gas resources teams, new business development activities, functional initiatives, training and supervision of junior members of the group and managing technical work carried out by specialist consultancies.
Candidate Requirements:
- You will hold a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering with preference given to candidates who hold an MSc or PhD. You will have expertise in well tight gas, shale gas and CBM projects as well as knowledge of the design, completion and testing of gas wells in unconventional gas projects.
